About The Show:
This captivating one-woman show, based on the critically acclaimed Amazon bestseller Me, Myself and Bipolar Brenda, Started it's Journey at Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre in April 2023 before Touring through Liverpool, London and even doing a Stint at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to Outstanding Reviews & Sell out performances.

Former Coronation Street actress and current Bipolar UK ambassador Natasha Rea smashes down barriers and raises awareness of bipolar, drawing on her own real-life story in this hilarious but heart-wrenching solo production. As much fun as you could have learning about bipolar without having to shit yourself in Tesco.
Vision
The Idea of both the sound and Lighting Designs I wanted to explore the Isolation that could be associated with BPD and the Calmness of Tasha' Mediative States and Yoga references throughout the Show.
In the First Itteration there was a Scene focusing about how Tasha Coped during the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020/21, Thinking that She'd Caused it by importing Pasta From Italy.
For this scene in particular I used my own previous works as a composer and using Ambisonics techniques created a sphere of sound of voices telling her it was all her fault , whilst using lighting to confine and close the playing space until she reaches her 'breaking point'
